Second city conversion castle

Here is a note from Santadwarf explaining the second city conversion castle. I tend not to do this b/c it seems to take forever. Some find it useful.

I picked up this tip when starting on a new world recently. What they do is make the first city a mixed resource city with a TG and barracks to start raiding right away for gold. The second city is what they call a conversion castle. What you do is lay your city out with 10 or so wood buildings, 20ish stone buildings then 30 cottages. Bring the resource buildings and cottages to lvl 7 then start building your military buildings. Delete the resource buildings as you need the build slots starting with the wood buildings first. http://louopt.com/A6yq is what mine looks like so far. I have found this to be very helpful in dominating my neighbors as most people will wait until city 3 to castle.
